Regavim has released scathing video accusing the EU of breaking International Law and is demanding they stop the illegal European settlement activity on Israeli land.
Regavim, the Israeli legal watchdog has released a scathing new viral video accusing the European Union of double standards and demanding they stop their illegal settlement activity on Israeli land.
The video was made in collaboration with Israeli viral video sensation Ezri Tubi and comes after the European Union attempted to claim diplomatic immunity when Regavim sued them for building over 1,000 illegal structures across Area C of Judaea and Samaria, which is under full Israeli control according to the Oslo Accords.
The buildings were erected in the guise of humanitarian aid for the Palestinians, but Regavim’s research indicates that they are part of a larger EU strategy to unilaterally create Palestinian political realities on the ground in defiance of Israel and contrary to the Oslo Accords.
Prime Minister Netanyahu recently lambasted the European Union on this topic as did his Deputy Foreign Minister Tzippy Hotovely.
Ari Briggs, international director of Regavim commented:
“The EU has spent hundreds of millions of Euros in European taxpayers money to erect these building in defiance of Israel.
We have found over 1,000 buildings proudly displaying the EU flags built on Israeli land without any permits.
Their actions are clearly illegal according to international law and it’s time that they are held accountable.”
