Next week marks Refugee Week and the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies will host guest speaker Philip Feinstein at its June Plenum to mark the occasion.
Winner of the 2014 STARTTS Humanitarian Award for Best Project, the ex South African political refugee Philip has combined his musical talents in composition and education in developing a program to combat stress for refugees living in detention centres around Australia.
Philip has also worked extensively with various Aboriginal groups, as well as mentoring children from broken Australian families and worked with children through B’nai B’rith.
