This item is from the PMW – Palestinian Media Watch which sends items at least once daily from the Middle East, be it TV, the printed media and Facebook..
PMW – Founded in 1996, Palestinian Media Watch is an Israeli research institute that studies Palestinian society from a broad range of perspectives by monitoring and analyzing the Palestinian Authority through its media and schoolbooks. PMW’s major focus is on the messages that the Palestinian leaders, from the Palestinian Authority, Fatah and Hamas, send to the population through the broad range of institutions and infrastructures they control.
Yesterday a girl of 9 years of age, playing in her own home Israeli town of Psagot in the Shomron, was shot by a masked gunman who entered her home.
These are the people who want peace?
“The sniper of Palestine was here…
He left a signature of [real] men”
Netanyahu: “As long as incitement continues
in the Palestinian media, the [Palestinian] Authority
cannot evade responsibility for these incidents”
After a nine-year-old girl was shot in the Israeli town of Psagot in the West Bank yesterday, the administrator of an official Fatah Facebook page praised the terrorist shooter. He related the attack to a sniper attack that killed an Israeli soldier in Hebron two weeks ago.
Writing on behalf of Fatah, the page administrator praised
“the sniper of Palestine”
who began his work in Hebron (the shooting of the soldier), passed through El-Bireh (the shooting of the girl), and – according to the Fatah Facebook page administrator – will continue in more places in the future:
In the Israeli Cabinet meeting this morning, Prime Minister Netanyahu referred to the shooting, and assigned full blame to the Palestinian Authority and to “the ongoing incitement in the Palestinian media”:
Last week, the PA held a memorial for terrorist Abu Sukkar who killed 15 Israelis with a bomb. In a speech, PA Chairman Abbas himself stated that “Fatah lost a beacon.”
Note: The Facebook page where this glorification of “the sniper of Palestine” was posted, called “Fatah – The Main Page,” is an official Fatah Facebook page. The page defines itself as belonging to the Fatah Mobilization and Organization Commission. Each Fatah commission has an official website. The official website of Fatah’s Mobilization and Organization Commission links to this Facebook page.

Several hostile news websites and writers for hire have reported that I renounced the Al-Buraq Wall (i.e., the Western Wall of the Temple Mount) or Jerusalem in a TV interview in Hebrew.
What I said was that when [US President Donald] Trump visited the Al-Buraq Wall, which is holy to the Jews, he did not agree that any Israeli would accompany him (sic., Western Wall Chief Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz accompanied him), and that this constitutes a message that he does not recognize the legitimacy of your (i.e., Israel’s) sovereignty over the site. That is all that I said on [Israeli TV] Channel 2, and I did not mention the word sovereignty or Israel at all (sic., Rajoub said the Western Wall will remain under “Jewish sovereignty,” see note below).
Those were my words, as I said them. Ignore the dogs, because despite the barking, the convoy will definitely pass.”
