Taglit-Birthright. Applications are OPEN!!

Come to Israel this summer with Hagshama on Taglit-Birthright. Applications are OPEN!!

Taglit-Birthright Israel is a visionary program that provides a gift of a 10-day educational tour of Israel for young Jewish adults aged 18-26.

The Zionist Federation of Australia (ZFA) is proud to represent the Australian Jewish community as the local partner in this unique project.

Hagshama is the ZFA’s young adult department and applications are now open to join two buses of young adults aged 18-26 from the 7th-17th July. It is an incredible opportunity, so don’t miss out!

These two buses have been generously supported by Gandel Philanthropy, the principal Australian supporter. It enables young adults, many of whom are largely unaffiliated with the Australian Jewish community and have never visited Israel to experience this life-changing program.

This trip provides participants with an opportunity to learn about our heritage and to connect with Israel in a real and meaningful way. It fosters Jewish identity and connection to community.
Aaron Isaac, from Sydney went on the program last year. He said: –

“It has given me the right to be re birthed, in all aspects of the statements. Spirituality emotionally and physically, well climbing mountains and walking 15000 average steps a day will it provided me a test with an opportunity to grow in all areas.

The friends I have made the friendships that have become brotherhoods. Looking back, I see how smoothly things were organised, it truly felt we were celebrities on tour. The safety of our amazing security and guards.

The driver who drove and kept as completely safe on roads I had no idea were drivable. Not one minute was wasted. From site to site event to event to activity to activity.

How could it be that I could see parts of Israel in ten days that people and even its residents don’t even see in a lifetime? I came to realise with birthright it became a possible reality.

Thank you thank you thank you. For this amazing opportunity. I will never forget.”

Since its inception in 2000, more than 400,000 young Jews from 67 countries around the world have taken part in the Taglit-Birthright Israel program. Don’t miss out on your opportunity and register!

The ZFA works together with several local program organisers to operate Taglit-Birthright Israel. By the end of 2016, more than 4200 Australians will have participated in this program.

Registration is open for the July Hagshama buses.
